The covers are paper wrapped in dark pink with tanned discoloration along the cover / backstrip connection. The backstrips are discolored to tan with original darkened paper labels. The covers have rubbed, discolored areas of white. The lower left corner on Volume 9 is bent upward. The title page has moderate foxing and tanning. There are at least a few full page black and white illustrations in Volume 9. The interior pages are stiff with moderate foxing and tanning throughout. 539 + 604 pages, size: 5.5 x 3.5"
